Unbreakable

Unbreakable is a self-guided online program designed to help Jewish adults build psychological resilience in the face of antisemitism.

Since October 2023, many people in the Jewish community have found that antisemitism has become an immediate and present threat. It can show up in workplaces, social circles and online spaces — often leaving people feeling anxious, isolated, or unsure how to respond.

This course exists to provide practical, evidence-based tools to help you navigate these experiences without losing your sense of safety, dignity, or Jewish pride.

Unbreakable focuses on your inner resilience. This course gives you practical ways on how you respond, how you process what you encounter, and how you maintain emotional balance and hope in challenging times.

How the program works

The course is structured around three core pillars of resilience, which together form a practical framework for navigating antisemitism in daily life:

1. Empowered: Maintaining Agency

You’ll learn how to distinguish between what you can control and what you can’t, and how to reclaim a sense of choice and agency, even in difficult or confronting situations. This module focuses on reducing feelings of helplessness and building confidence in how you respond.

2. Realistic: Managing Thoughts and Emotions

This module introduces proven cognitive tools to help you process strong emotions, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and avoid catastrophic spirals. You’ll learn how thoughts influence feelings, and how to stay grounded without minimising what you’re experiencing.

3. Positive: Cultivating Optimism and Growth

Here, the focus is on maintaining realistic optimism, overcoming negativity bias, strengthening your social support, and finding meaning in adversity. The goal is not forced positivity, but the ability to grow in the face of trauma.

Each module includes explanations, reflections, and practical exercises you can apply at your own pace.
