About Jewish House
Jewish House has always been here for our community in times of crisis.
As antisemitism rises, we’re here to listen, to help, and to stand with you through our Navigating Antisemitism platform.
A dedicated space for support, resources, and action.
About Us
For over 41 years, Jewish House has been a cornerstone of the Sydney community, offering crisis support, mental health services and emergency housing to help individuals and families struggling through difficult times. Our mission is to provide immediate assistance and a safe environment for those in need, whether that’s homelessness, mental health challenges, family breakdowns, or substance use issues.
Over the past year, we’ve faced a different kind of crisis. A sharp and unsettling rise in antisemitism across Australia. It affects people of all ages and in many areas of life, and it has left parts of our community feeling scared and overwhelmed. Just as we did during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve expanded our support services to address the emotional and psychological impact of this discrimination.

How Our Platform Works
To ensure no one faces this challenge alone, we developed the Navigating Antisemitism website. This is a dedicated platform that responds to individual incidents of antisemitism, as well as the wider systems that allow antisemitism to persist.
The platform serves as a safe space to:
- Report incidents: Document and report antisemitic incidents so they can be addressed and tracked at a community level.
- Empower yourself: Access practical resources, education, and self-care tools to help people understand your rights, protect your wellbeing, and build resilience.
- Find support services: Connect to specialised services, such as crisis lines, psychologist support and kids’ programs, to get the help you need.
